Leanne’s second video-poem Teacups & Mink was selected for screening at the 2008 New York International Independent Film & Video Festival on Sunday, March 2 at 8:15 p.m. at the Village East Cinema in New York City, and in summer 2008 in Los Angeles (time TBA). 

Teacups & Mink was created as part of a multi-media arts show which opened in Vancouver in December 2007 and is touring across Canada to end in St. John’s Newfoundland in February 2010.

 

 

Directed by award-winning video artist Shawn Chappelle, this piece was selected for screening at the Visible Verse Film Festival in Vancouver BC, November 2004. Written by and featuring Leanne Averbach.
